The Cultural Table with World Economic Forum

Upon invitation from Joseph Fowler, Head of Arts and Culture at World Economic Forum, Sougwen Chung will give a talk at the Cultural Table taking place within the WEF's Industry Strategy Meeting on May 14.

Reflecting on the evolving relationship between human and machine, Chung will share their vision for the future of this field through their ongoing research and creative practice.

Sougwen 愫君 Chung is a Chinese-Canadian artist and researcher. Chung is the founder and artistic director of ⇢ SCILICET, a studio exploring human & non-human collaboration.

A former research fellow at MIT’s Media Lab, Sougwen is considered a pioneer in the field of human-machine collaboration – exploring the mark-made-by-hand and the mark-made-by-machine as an approach to understanding the dynamics of humans and systems.
