As part of the first edition of the Mesh Festival, two works by Sougwen Chung will be exhibited at der TANK: BODY MACHINE (MERIDIANS) and ECOLOGIES OF BECOMING-WITH.

BODY MACHINE (MERIDIANS) features biomimetic robotic speculations created using custom training models, spatial technologies, and motion capture. The work reimagines gestural lines as 'Machine Meridians,' representing the body as a generative system and contributing to Chung’s ongoing exploration of collaboration with the bespoke D.O.U.G._ robotic system.

In addition, ECOLOGIES OF BECOMING-WITH, comprising of an installation and a painting, serves as an artefact of the performance that will take place during the festival. This piece invites viewers to engage with the fluid relationship between human and machine in a tactile, visual form.

The exhibition will open on October 17 and run through October 20.
