Solo Exhibition GENESIS in Munich

As the final days of August unfolded, Chung presented a debut solo exhibition in Germany at Munich's Muffatwerk. Curated and produced by their studio, SCILICET, the exhibition featured three new works as part of GENESIS, an ongoing research project that delves into the evolution of the drawn line and the robotic form.

The new pieces included SPECTRAL, a kinetic installation powered by the robotic system D.O.U.G._4, which responded to brainwaves, gracefully echoing their patterns on a transparent canvas; BODY MACHINE, a series of digital drawings envisioning the body as a (re)generative system, and a number of GENESIS Forms, accompanied by a bespoke sound score created by long-time collaborator Aquarian.

It was truly gratifying to see the works come alive in the space's main Halle. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this exhibition possible.
