Been feeling kinda quiet since I got back from the northernmost north; amongst capturing the experience through moving image, sound, it was necessary to experience the Arctic Svalbard without editorialising, without narrative. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 / 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘵. So I spent hours meditating in the environment; in snow, rain, puddles and glacier ice. Listening and contemplating the impossibility of leaving no trace. (So much for not editorialising — I’m telling you about it, aren’t I?)
