GENESIS Stage 1 showing later this week in Istanbul

I've been drawing sculptures in air inspired by animalia and myth; the tail of a serpent as ouroboros, eternal return, eclipsing time.

The tail of a serpent sitting on my studio bench in London before we shipped it out; there's so much potential in this process as form and dataset to be explored, new ways of pulling the digital into the physical, spatial, embodied

The chrome finish means the form itself reflects the visual characteristics of the projected environment its suspended within while also casting its own shadow.

While in the studio it resembles liquid mercury
