Sougwen Chung is a Canadian-born, Chinese-raised, and Brooklyn-based artist. Her multi-disciplinary visual work aims to explore contrasts; the intuitive and the technical, form and function, material and immaterial.
She has enjoyed speaking engagements at PSFK & New York Design Week and performed at Mutek Mexico A:Visions, Unsound Festival, and Fabric London. Her work has been featured in Cool Hunting, The New Yorker, Dazed and Confused, Big Up Magazine and numerous other print and online publications.
